Please note:
The platform is currently in a closed beta phase, with access available by invitation only. During this phase, certain aspects of the verification process may differ slightly from the official ones described bellow as we continue to test and refine the system. If you’re interested in participating in the closed beta or learning more, you can request additional information through our contact form here.
Our Approach to Authenticity
Securing a digital ecosystem against bots, troll farms, and duplicate profiles is one of the greatest challenges facing the modern internet. While mainstream platforms rely on automated scripts with mixed results, SLOVO introduces an uncompromising standard: direct, in-person verification.
At the same time, we recognize that not everyone can or wishes to complete an in-person verification, and we want to ensure those voices are heard too. To balance security with accessibility, SLOVO features a tiered environment:
The Public Tier:
Anyone can request an account to explore our platform, connect with others, and enjoy an entirely advertisement-free, non-algorithmic chronological feed. Because this space bypasses the verification process, it carries the same ecosystem dynamics as mainstream networks—meaning automated or duplicate accounts can exist here.
The Verified Tier:
Users who complete our in-person verification unlock the full scope of SLOVO, including our exclusive VIP spaces. This introduces a rare attribute to the modern internet: an absolute guarantee that every single person you interact with is a real, verified human being.
Event-based verification model
Identity verification is conducted at dedicated verification events. At these events, users can register and have their account created in person by a member of the platform team. Dates and locations of these events are to be announced.
Registration and Verification Flow
- A SLOVO representative verifies the user’s identity in person using a government-issued ID.
- The system checks whether the identity already exists in the verification database and changes it’s status to “Verified”.
- If no existing record is found, a new account is created and the required verification data is securely stored.
- Each verified identity can be associated with one account only.
Data Collected During Verification
For the purposes of identity verification and account uniqueness, the following data is collected:
- Information from your ID card
- Internal user ID assigned at registration
This data is collected solely for verification purposes and is not publicly visible on the platform.
Data Storage and Access
All verification data is stored in an encrypted database.
Access to this database is strictly limited and verification data is never shared with third parties except where required by law.
